We had a snow day today. Now, a snow day here doesn’t necessarily mean a lot of snow — in fact, they’ll close things down with the threat of snow (at times). Anyway, we had probably a couple of inches or so. Enough snow that munchkin had fun playing in it. Since we’re homeschooling, a snow day doesn’t mean she doesn’t have to do her school work. BUT, I do allow her to play out in the snow as much as she wants since it doesn’t snow that often.
Of course, that means that she’s just now finishing up her school work for today, but hey, she had a fun day! She doesn’t mind too much though. We always take days off when Daddy is home. Plus, we have random days when we just take off “because”. We also school year around, so that allows us to have “extra days” as necessary.
I was able to work on a few Valentine’s things that I want to actually get done for Valentine’s Day. lol! I also surprised D by getting the area where he wanted to put our new desk completely cleared out and cleaned. I was going to move the desk over there, but quickly realized that I couldn’t move it on my own — even with those furniture sliders.
Now, I just need to figure out what we’re going to do for the homeschool Valentine’s Party. We need to make up at least 65 Valentines and take a goody & drink to share. Now, normally I would have all of this done already, but, alas, it’s just not done this year. I want to do something different. Hmm….
Well, I have a few things that I need to get done before Lost comes on tonight. I want to be able to check out a few more of the WFMW: Sweet Love posts.
