Tackle It Tuesday: Organization

This week, for Tackle it Tuesday, I decided that I needed to tackle cleaning and organizing the refrigerator, freezer, and pantry. Thankfully, D was willing to help me take care of the few science experiments that were found. I think everything ended up looking pretty good in the end. Updated to add the spice cabinet. I was motivated to finish up all areas, so I also tackled the spice cabinet today.

Since Christmas, our reading as a family and individual reading time really has dropped. We were having so much fun reading a book together each evening. President’s Day is a celebration of both George Washington’s and Abraham Lincoln’s Birthdays. Until 1971, both February 12 and February 22 were observed as federal holidays to honor the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln (Feb. 12) and George Washington (Feb. 22). In 1971 President Richard Nixon proclaimed one single federal holiday, the Presidents’ Day, to be observed on the third Monday of February, honoring all past presidents of the United States of America.
