I don’t recall giving Munchkin permission to grow up so quickly, yet, this picture shows that she’s growing up way too fast. How does this happen without us noticing? One day she was our little baby — now she’s a little miss. **sigh**
Ok, ok, so she’s only 7 (soon-to-be 8), but man does time fly…
Today, we were sorting and cleaning some things and ran across some pictures from when she was really little. We showed them to her and she didn’t recognize herself. She was so little back then. She said it looked like her little cousin.
It reminds us to really treasure this time that we have with her.
Isn’t it amazing how fast time flies by?!! Your daughter is beautiful!

Thank you, we think so, but we’re kind of biased! Time really does fly by…
Treasure every moment with her because it does fly fast! My daughter is 20 now and I am so thankful I was able to homeschool her. We have a wonderful relationship and people look at me strange when I tell them we never had the teen-age year troubles with her. It doesn’t have to be that way.
She is a beautiful, precious looking sweetie!
I think when my kids get that old i’m going to cry.
She’s a cutie!
Your daughter is just lovely. It is hard to watch our babies grow up so fast. My oldest daughter is turning 13 next week, and I can’t quite figure out how my cherubic little toddler became a beautiful teen. All this time you’re spending with your daughter is so worth it… I’m always amazed at the memories my daughter has of our fun times together, even when she was tiny. I think that’s why, even at this age, we have such a close relationship and she is still a sweet girl.
Thank you for your comment on my little fledgling blog! I will definitely look at Target and Michael’s for those magnetic frames. It’s just the kind of fun easy organizing project I need to do, to pass the last couple of weeks before my baby arrives!!
The is a beautiful girl. I know – time flys when you have children. Before you know it, your hubby will walk her down the isle.
Hubby says that her getting married is not acceptable. 😉
I know what you mean. Our daughter just turned 7 yesterday and as I was taking pictures of her at her party, I saw her in a different light than I normally do. Maybe it was because I actually was looking at her through the camera lens. I am not sure, but I too saw a young lady emerging. It does go by WAY WAY WAY too fast.
