This year we wanted to do something different for munchkin’s valentines for the homeschool Valentine’s Party. We had to make at least 65 valentine’s, so we needed to figure out something that would be inexpensive.
We decided to use some cardstock that we had on hand (received it free from someone). I then cut out a lot of hearts from old cards and from my bulb catalog (lots of flower pictures). We ended up with hundreds of floral hearts.
Munchkin then glued the hearts onto postcard size cardstock. On the back of the cardstock, I printed Happy Valentine’s Day! We still have about 30 cards to go, but we’re having fun making the cards. Here’s a sampling of the cards. Unfortunately, they look really jumbled, so you can’t really see how cute they turned out.
It was a fun way to inexpensively make cards for everyone.
Those are darling! What a great idea!
I can’t believe you are making 60 cards! Brave soul you are! 🙂
Those are so cute and very creative! Thank you for sharing them!!
I don’t see pics!!! But that is a great idea! Thanks for stopping by!
I’m not sure why the pics are coming up sometimes and not at others. Sorry about that.
Not brave, just a sucker for pretty blue eyes and a “please mommy?” lol!
