Cheesesteak Recipe

Cheesesteak Recipe Ingredients:OnionsGreen PeppersProvolone CheeseAll Beef Sandwich Steaks (found in the freezer section at grocery store)Hoagie Rolls Recipe: 1. Saute onions and green peppers until onions are translucent.2. While these are cooking, break frozen sandwich steaks into pieces (they come in thin layers) and cook.3. Mix the onions & peppers into the steak.4. Place pieces of cheese (I break up into smaller pieces) on the steak mixture and allow to melt.5. While these are melting, toast the hoagie rolls.6. It’s the final day over at The Sparrows Nest for the Anti-Procrastination Challenge. It’s been a blessing to me even though I didn’t find out about it until later in the challenge. Several things have been accomplished that probably wouldn’t have gotten done otherwise. So, thank you Mrs. Wilt for the challenge. Today, I need to take out the recycling. Baked Mac ‘n Cheese

This is my grandfather’s Mac ‘n Cheese recipe — passed down to my mom — passed down to me — and someday to be passed down to munchkin. Ingredients:1 1/2 C macaroni1 tsp salt1 1/2 C grated cheddar cheese*2 T flour1 1/4 C milk (optional use 1 egg & 2 C milk instead)2 T butter Recipe:1. Melt butter; blend in flour & salt2. Meal Plan Monday

I do my meal plans a little different than many. I prefer to have a list of items (usually on a dry erase board in the kitchen) that we will have to eat for supper during the week. Each day, I pick out what we’ll be having from that list based upon what is going on that day. Here’s the menu for this week: 1. Baked Mac ‘n Cheese 2. Grilled Cheese and Soup 3. Spaghetti 4. Daddy Daughter Day

Today has ended up being a Daddy Daughter Day at our house. I’m in bed with a stomache bug of some sort. Yuck! They started off the day with some leftover pancakes from Daddy’s cooking session yesterday. (He always makes extras, so we can have them during the week.)
