I am pleased to announce that I was able to finish last weeks tackle of stripping the vinyl off the laundry and kitchen/dining room floor. I needed to get this done before my husband came home for his long weekend because we/he would be tackling the next phase — the laminate. So, this week’s tackle was installing the laminate. Here’s what I started with this morning. After an hour and a half, I am pleased to show the completed project for this stage. I get to surprise D with a “finished” floor removal.Now, we’re off to the other house to do laundry and get ready for D’s arrival home for the weekend. We’ll be heading back here tomorrow with Daddy!!!

Here’s today’s Tackle It Tuesday progress report… I was able to get a chunk of the kitchen done in about an hour. I didn’t strip this all the way down to the floor. I’m going to see if what D thinks before going any further down. (Please excuse the mess… it’s a work in progress…) Just imagine what I could get done if I set my mind to it. lol! I like to tackle it a little at a time for the sake of my lungs and body.
