Another stop during our Grand Canyon Adventure was a little trail called Keyhole Loop Trail. It’s located in Kaibob National Forest right outside of Williams, Arizona. We stopped by to see the park ranger to see if he had any maps of the local trails. He informed us that many of the trails were still closed due to slow, so we’d want to be careful while hiking. Wupatki National Monument

While we were camping near the Grand Canyon we decided to take advantage of our location, and we went to see the Wupatki National Monument. You saw a glimpse of the ruins at the monument on my Wordless Wednesday post. One of the really fun things about this National Park area was that you could actually go into many of the different ruins. Some areas were marked with do not enter or do not walk here signs. Sunset Crater National Monument

We decided to take a day trip over to the Sunset Crater National Monument while we were up in Williams (near Grand Canyon) camping.
