Storehouse Foods Review and Giveaway

Posted in Gluten Free, Military Life, and Reviews

Storehouse Foods offers high quality, freeze-dried food systems with options for budgets of all sizes and expert advice on emergency preparedness. I was thrilled to find that they also offer a complete line of gluten free products. While I do believe it’s important to have products on hand for emergencies, my motive behind wanting these products has more to do with having easy to prepare and transport foods for D when he’s away at training or on deployments. We were given the opportunity to try out some of their gluten free products. When they arrived, D informed me that he…

Mabel’s Labels Review and Giveaway

From household labels to clothing labels to allergy alert labels, Mabel’s Labels has a variety of labels for all of your labeling needs.  We were given the opportunity to review the allergy alert labels. If you have a child with food allergies, you know the concern of sending food with a child to different events.  I’ve made labels for Munchkin’s food items that she has taken to church events and homeschool events, but they only last for that single use. Mabel’s Labels allergy alert labels are both dishwasher safe and microwave safe, so they will last for repeated uses (on…

I was given the opportunity to review the new Chocolate Chia Goodness.  I have to admit that I was not familiar with Chia Goodness, so I was looking forward to trying this product. Chia Goodness contains completely raw ingredients. Chia is gluten-free, dairy-free, has five times the calcium of milk, and more Omega 3 than flaxseed or salmon. It’s an excellent, source of fiber, calcium and iron. Using raw organic cacao nibs and fair trade, organic cocoa powder, this breakfast cereal has only 3 grams of organic evaporated cane juice per serving. The cereal also contains dates and almonds for…

Diane’s Corner Insulated Lunchbag Set Review

Posted in Reviews

Diane’s Corner Etsy shop features handmade lunch bag sets, handbags, coupon holders, backpacks, and more.  Diane offers custom embroidery on her backpacks, messenger bags, and lunch bags.  She also takes custom orders. I received the French – Paris lunch bag and sandwich bag to review. The lunch bag is fully lined with a bright pink fabric and boasts a nice sized exterior pocket for napkins and utensils.  It has a zipper closure and a single handle.  The single handle that crosses from one side to the next takes a little getting use to when you’re use to having 2 handles. …
