While Gramma and Grampa were here visiting, Munchkin had the opportunity to test for her TaeKwonDo yellow belt. She was nervous and excited all rolled up into one as testing day approached. We all (including Gramma and Grampa) headed over the dojang on Saturday morning. One by one the students who were testing went over their steps and forms, answered questions, and performed the tasks requested by the testing panel. Learning TaeKwonDo

After a great deal of encouragement from Daddy, Munchkin started up with TaeKwonDo a couple of weeks ago. Daddy felt it was important that she learn the discipline that comes from studying the martial arts as well as learn some self-defense techniques. Munchkin wasn’t completely sure of this, and the idea of this brand new activity was a little daunting.
