I’ve written before that we have been blessed by good neighbors, good friends at this duty station. I was reminded again today how grateful I am for these good friendships as Munchkin happily ran around with her friend while we stood and talked with her mom, our neighbor. Thankful Thursday: Support

As I sat watching the Olympics, I thought about all of the support that these athletes needed to get to where they were at right now.  They needed family, friends, coaches, and colleges supporting them each step of the way.  They needed dedication and perseverance as they strove to accomplish their goal.  Shaun White didn’t stomp 2 runs and win the gold by sitting around idly watching others.  He was out there working hard.
