Last Tuesday, Munchkin and I headed up to the cabin with the pups and the guinea pigs. D was over in 29 Palms, so we thought we’d get a little work done at the cabin while he was there. We finally received our first check for the flooding damage at the cabin. It took over 3 months to receive the check which really did slow down some of the purchasing of needed products, but now we’re back on track. It’s taking longer than we would like to get things back together, but that’s what happens when you end up doing all the work yourselves. lol! After an enjoyable weekend with Grandma and Grandpa, Monday found us on our last day together. We had planned on heading out on Monday morning to do some fun things together and look for some items that we needed for the cabin, but one of the electricians showed up. Munchkin and Grandma settled down to play a game of Scrabble while we got a few things done.
