On Friday, Munchkin completed the earthquake unit. We used the earthquake lapbook from Hands of a Child. She enjoyed learning about the different aspects of earthquakes. We were able to watch a few shows on Discovery/National Geographic Channel to go along with this unit. National Geographic’s website has some great interactive features on earthquakes (as well as tornadoes, hurricanes, and volcanoes) including being able to set off an earthquake.
