Educaching is an innovative curriculum that combines education and geocaching. If you’ve never heard of geocaching, you can think about it as a high tech treasure hunt using your gps. We loved the idea of incorporating our gps into our school day. Munchkin would learn how to use technology, get exercise, and learn all at the same time. Sounds like a plan to me. Flash cards can be a great way to learn math facts, but kids don’t always enjoy it. I created this file folder game for our workboxes as a way to review Munchkin’s math facts without it seeming like math drills. Pyramid of Numbers You can find the game board and instructions here. There are currently multiplication, addition, and subtraction card sets. While working on basic math facts is great, Munchkin also needed work on story problems.
