All About Spelling Levels 4 and 5 Review

All About Spelling is a logical, sequential, multisensory spelling program. The lessons involve sight, sound, and touch.  Each lesson builds upon the previous lesson.  The program is mastery-based, not grade-level based, so when students master a specific concept, they move on.  It also has continual review. Crisp Evening Air

Last night, as I was getting ready to fall asleep, our “puppy” decided that he needed to go out. I didn’t want to get up as I was comfy in bed, but I got up and went downstairs. Sweet Potato/Pumpkin Loaf Cake

While I like the idea of the pumpkin roll, I wanted something a little easier to make.  I decided to take my recipe for sweet potato muffins and put it in a loaf pan.  If you prefer pumpkin, you can just substitute pumpkin puree for the sweet potato puree.  For the loaf, use the sweet potato muffin recipe.  Place in loaf pans instead of muffin cups.  Cook approximately 30 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean when inserted.  Allow to cool completely before cutting into layers.
