Lunch Time Fun: Spring Plate

Posted in Homemaking

Sometimes, it’s just nice to surprise Munchkin with a fun lunch.  Last week, she was feeling a bit low, and her school work seemed a little overwhelming.  I surprised her by bringing her this lunch instead of her regular lunch.  While it contained many of the same things she would normally eat, I presented it in a fun way.  Her face lit up, and her mood instantly brightened.  A little extra effort on my part resulted in a big impact on Munchkin’s day. Fun lunches for Munchkin works for me!

It’s more than just a one week convention — it is the ULTIMATE homeschool resource library. As with all of Cindy’s online events, the Ultimate Homeschool Expo 2010 has an exclusive Membership Site that includes everything from the UHSE in one place. It…

EnviroKidz was one of the first brands of kids cereals that actually tasted good and that Munchkin wanted to eat.  Panda Puffs (peanut butter puffs), Gorilla Munch (think kix), and Koala Krisp (chocolate rice crispies) became staples at our house. Munchkin loved…

Wet Trampoline Fun and other happenings…

Posted in Family

As I stated before the temps are starting to creep up, so the kids are looking for ways to cool off.  On Friday, Munchkin and her friend decided that they wanted to put a sprinkler under the trampoline for a little fun.  The only problem was we realized that we left the sprinkler at our old house.  Hmmm…. we grabbed the hose with the sprayer.  Underneath the trampoline, we propped up the sprayer with 2 large rocks so it was spraying up onto the bottom of the trampoline.  It made for a fun, wet, slippery, crazy place for the girls…
