It’s hard to believe that another year has come to an end.  We will be spending our New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day out in the desert.  It seems fitting to be ending 2010 and starting 2011 out camping in the desert and spending quality time together as a family.  We plan on doing some riding and hiking as well as just relax and play games.  I’m taking along some books to get some reading done. Winter Fun in the Desert

What do you do when you really want snow, but you live in the desert where snow isn’t going to happen? You make your own snow with your friends. Then, you throw it at each other on the trampoline.  You proceed to slip and slide all over the place. Sending yourself and your friends into fits of screams and laughter. Pretty soon, you feel ice hit your feet as mommy had thrown an entire bucket of ice onto the trampoline. You have a great time playing with the snow and ice.
