Posted in Reviews

Many thanks to Propeller Consulting, LLC for providing a sample of the product in exchange for this review and post. Yes, I got to listen to more Christmas music prior to Thanksgiving. **grin** Out of respect for D’s preferences, I’ve been listening when he’s not home. He’ll get to listen to them after Thanksgiving which is when he likes to start listening to Christmas music. I’ve always enjoyed music from Chris Tomlin, so I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to check out this new Christmas album. It did not disappoint. The album features 11 songs: He Shall Reign Forevermore Adore…

Many thanks to Propeller Consulting, LLC for providing a sample of the product in exchange for this review and post. Hubby’s normal rule about Christmas music is that we don’t listen to it until Thanksgiving. (Extended family traditions on my side find Christmas and Thanksgiving blended as that is when we all came together as a family.) This year, I get to bend the rule a little due to having received this new Christmas cd from Mercy Me for review. I thoroughly enjoy listening to Christmas music as it brightens my mood and makes me smile. This latest album features…

Giving Thanks 2015 – Week Two

Posted in Family, and Thoughts

It’s hard to believe that we’re already entering into the third week of November. Where has the time gone? Before we know it, another year will have passed. While this was not good news, it did allow us to spend more time together…

As I got older, I was encouraged to underline or highlight verses that stood out to me as I was reading scripture. By junior high and high school, it was okay to make some notes in the Bible. There was still some controversy over whether you should take notes directly in the Bible or to write in a notebook or on a bookmark. I did a little…

Veterans Day – Thank You for Your Service

Posted in Holidays, and Military Life

D had today off from work due to Veterans Day. He hasn’t always had off or even been around for Veterans Day, so I was really glad to be able to spend some extra time with him. We went grocery shopping this morning as saw a sign at the store that talked about what it was to be a veteran. I’ve seen several of these this year which I thought was pretty cool. I like seeing our veterans honored even if it’s something as simple as saying thanks for your service. Munchkin has met several veterans in her classes which…
