When I was first introduced to the KidBudget program, I liked the way the system was completely geared towards kids. The colors were bright and fun. The drawstring bags that were placed in a zippered pouch were a fun twist on the traditional envelope system. A workbook meant for kids to go through on their own (with a little parental help here and there) allowed for kids to truly take charge of their own finances. Project 365 – #221 Lots of stuff going on behind the scenes at the Marine Corps Nomads household. We’re busy getting things together for the “new” school year. Project 365 – #220 Before my sister and her family headed over to Arizona to visit, the story of the Scorpion Queen was told to my nieces. The very bare bones version of the story follows – a story of a young girl who found a scorpion ring. The little girl found out from a local Native American that the ring was a one-of-a-kind ring that had special powers. The key was that it could never hit the ground or the powers would be gone.
