How’s that for a crazy title? On Saturday, while helping D work on his truck, I smashed my finger, so I’m trying to type without the use of my index finger. Not an easy task. lol! My finger is red, black and blue and swollen. The swelling is starting to go down some, so hopefully, I’ll be able to use my finger again in the near future. D and I are praying about some decisions in our lives right now, so that has really been our focus for the last few days. I’m working on getting a few projects done…

Many miles away, my family is holding the memorial service for my Grandpa. It’s a small, graveside funeral. People are sharing stories, memories. Tears are being shed. Hugs are being given. Laughter and sorrow will be mixed together. It’s a bittersweet day for all. You see, my Grandpa has been ill for some time. He had many ups and downs. (She really likes root…

I’m making a few adjustments in how I handle things, and I’m putting my expectations of Munchkin in writing.…

It would have been nice if there would have been a little more breeze to cool us off in the evening, but it was still okay once we settled in for the night. The sky was pitch black at night until the moon came out. The stars sparkled brilliantly above us. The difference in visibility after the moon was high in the…
