Visual Latin… Where do I even begin this review? This program has really changed things around our house. I was one of those homeschool moms who never thought that we’d be studying Latin. Towards the end of the last school year, we started using Analytical Grammar. I was one of those moms that said I wouldn’t use a grammar program that required a great deal of diagramming. Munchkin was excited about the possibility of doing this review as she currently is thinking about her plans for the future. When we received the dvd, I popped it into the computer and started printing out the lesson plans, learning objectives (by chapter), course syllabus, and key terms (by chapter). (You can view these on the computer, but I wanted to have physical copies for Munchkin.) Most of us are pretty familiar with both Scrabble and the Rubik’s Cube, but have you heard of the Scruble Cube? No? Well, I hadn’t either until I was introduced to it through the Homeschool Crew. Breast cancer awareness is near and dear to my heart as my mother-in-law is a breast cancer survivor. Cancer is a horrible disease which touches way too many lives. I’m sure there are very few individuals who have not been touched in some way by cancer. When I was asked if I’d like to help spread the word about the 2011 Pink Together campaign, I said yes. Having lost my mother to ovarian cancer, I know the importance of spreading the word about regular check-ups as well as helping raise funds for cancer research. Fighting cancer is not something you…
