Joy of the Redeemed

Posted in Christian Life, and Photography

Project 365 – #191 The wilderness and the dry land shall be glad; the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the crocus; it shall blossom abundantly and rejoice with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, the majesty of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see the glory of the LORD, the majesty of our God. Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who have an anxious heart, “Be strong; fear not! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God. He will come and save you.”…

Hearty Breakfast

Project 365 – #189 Yet another hearty breakfast for my Marine.  He loves to start his day with a solid breakfast.  It doesn’t always happen, but it’s definitely what he prefers.  Me?  I’d be happy with a muffin or breakfast bar.  😉  Munchkin likes a wide assortment of items for breakfast – as long as mommy gets them for her.  lol! Sorry I’m so late in posting today.  It’s been a long day of working on the computer and blog.  I have a love – hate relationship with technology….

Making Memories

Project 365 – #187 D decided that he needed to cowboy up a little this weekend.  He was tired of just sitting around the house, so he said that we were going to do a little exploring.  We took his truck out and enjoyed some of the desert trails.  He did pretty well.  Since it was a long weekend, he was able to recover from our trips by relaxing.  (We didn’t do any hiking – just driving around.)  It was fun to be back out there exploring as a family.  We’d all missed it.

Contentment

Project 365 – #186 photo by Munchkin Is this the face of happiness and contentment or what? “Puppy” loves to go on trips and outings with us.  Normally, he’ll just sit in the back seat, curl up, and fall asleep.  Lately, he’s taken to moving over closer and closer to Munchkin in the back seat.  (We have bench seats in the trucks.)  Pretty soon, he’s resting his head on her lap.  He’s happy as can be cuddling close to her. Yesterday, Munchkin captured his silly content face when he looked up at her.  We all just laughed when we saw…
