Yes, I am quite late in posting this. For that I am truly sorry. It was a busy day, but I do have a couple of fun recipes that I found at Family Fun. I love all the kid-friendly ideas they have at the site. We’ll start off the day with a lovely batch of green pancakes. No, they’re not moldy. President’s Day is a celebration of both George Washington’s and Abraham Lincoln’s Birthdays. Until 1971, both February 12 and February 22 were observed as federal holidays to honor the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln (Feb. 12) and George Washington (Feb. 22). In 1971 President Richard Nixon proclaimed one single federal holiday, the Presidents’ Day, to be observed on the third Monday of February, honoring all past presidents of the United States of America. Our Valentine’s Gift

We decided that we wanted to get each other a gift this year. Both of us have some issues with our backs, so D thought we should get a shiatsu and rolling massage cushion for our chair. I thought it sounded like a really good idea. Unfortunately, it didn’t arrive in time for Valentine’s Day, but it did arrive today. D is sitting and relaxing right now. He was a gentleman and let me enjoy my massage first. Here is a picture of our gift to each other.
