Fitness Friday: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly

Posted in Fitness

The Good Last week, I was having a great week not only getting projects done around the house but also with my fitness program. I was back on my regular 21 Day Fix Fitness program routine, and I had added yoga to the mix in the evenings. The combination of the two left me feeling tired and sore, but my body really appreciated the yoga as it helped me stay more relaxed and flexible. I was sleeping better and had more energy. I was thrilled when I was able to help hubby more with his projects in the garage over…

Fitness Friday: Stress and Tension Relief

Posted in Fitness, and Reviews

Special thanks to HealPT for providing a free or discounted sample of their product for me to test out in my home. All opinions are my own based upon my personal experiences. The fitness band work allowed me to get at least a little resistance exercise in without the physical activity associated with my…

This time around I was further along in my fitness that when I started the first time. It’s amazing how quickly your body can be knocked out of the routine. I was antsy to get back into the routine, so my body was definitely saying that I needed to get moving. Yet, when I got moving again (at…

Fitness Friday: Getting Healthy

Posted in Fitness, and Reviews

After the craziness of the last few weeks, this week was all about getting healthy again. For me, this meant that I got back to the basics with eating real, healthy, whole food. It also meant getting a good night’s sleep as well as some rest during the day as I tried to shake the illness. This week, I ate a lot more veggies and fruits. I made my own smoothie popcicles for a healthy snack, and I drank a smoothie each day. I had little to no sugar, and I didn’t eat processed foods. Exercise certainly is important, but…
