At the Beach

This week, we’ll spend some time camping at the beach. Daddy has to go through his post-deployment this and that, so we decided to go with him in order to spend time with him. While Daddy is at work, we’ll be having fun working on various ocean related lapbooks, walking the beach, and anything else we can think of at the time. We won’t have a vehicle, so we’ll need to stay fairly close to our camp. Field Trips

Yesterday, we started off our day with our field trip to Cold Stone Creamery. “Does anyone want some ice cream for breakfast?” was the phrase that started our field trip. The kids got a kick out of this one. After seeing all the behind the scenes workings, the kids headed out front to pick their flavor of ice cream and topping. Next, we headed over to a local farm.
