The Lord is My Rock

Posted in Christian Life, and Photography

I have a dear online friend – a Marine Mom – who is struggling right now.  Her son is deployed, so she’s dealing with the stress brought on by that.  In addition to that stress, she’s struggling with health and other issues.  I’m praying, but I wanted to publically show some support and let her know that she’s loved.  This picture is for her. Semper Fi, Marine Mama!  The Lord is on your side, and you have many prayer warriors who have your back.

Project 365 – #100 And if you will indeed obey my commandments that I command you today, to love the LORD your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul, he will give the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the later rain, that you may gather in your grain and your wine and your oil. And he will give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you shall eat and be full. ~Deuteronomy 11:13-15~

Good or Bad Fruit?

Posted in Christian Life, and Photography

Project 365 – #086 Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them. ~Matthew 7:15-20~

Ring the Bells of Heaven

Project 365 – #085 Ring the bells of Heaven! There is joy today, For a soul, returning from the wild! See, the Father meets him out upon the way, Welcoming His weary, wandering child. Ring the bells of Heaven! There is joy today, For the wanderer now is reconciled; Yes, a soul is rescued from his sinful way, And is born anew a ransomed child. Ring the bells of Heaven! Spread the feast today! Angels, swell the glad triumphant strain! Tell the joyful tidings, bear it far away! For a precious soul is born again. Glory! Glory! How the angels…
