One Can A Month Challenge

Starting July 1 Enviromom is going to walk (virtually) through a typical house and talk about waste that is generated in each room. They’ll offer tips and strategies for eliminating waste through the REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE model. They’ll take it slow, and over the course of the month they’ll cover the whole house. Salmonellosis Outbreak with Tomatoes

This makes me ready for our tomatoes to be ripe. Well this and the fact that homegrown tomatoes are just delicious!! The Food and Drug Administration is expanding its warning to consumers nationwide that a salmonellosis outbreak has been linked to consumption of certain raw red plum, red Roma, and red round tomatoes, and products containing these raw, red tomatoes. FDA recommends that consumers not eat raw red Roma, raw red plum, raw red round tomatoes, or products that contain these types of raw red tomatoes unless the tomatoes are from the sources listed below.
