I decided to get a head start on the Thanksgiving meal. I boiled the potatoes for the mashed potatoes. When I started to mash them, Munchkin declared, “That looks like fun! It’s hard to believe that it’s already Tuesday again. I have a nice list of things to do today, so we’re off to the races… 1. Take D’s packages to the post office 2. Do the laundry 3. Get Munchkin’s Math done for the day 4. Work on Thanksgiving lapbook 5. Watch Thanksging dvds about Pilgrims 6. Sweep floor in kitchen 7. Wipe down countertops & put away any stray items 8. Last night, we headed over to the Botanical Gardens for their members only sneak preview of the Garden of Lights display. As we drove up to the gardens, we were greeted by thousands of beautiful Christmas lights twinkling in the still, cool night. They asked us to tune our radio to the Christmas music playing on their set station. We began to drive through the tunnel of lights looking at the different displays.
