  4 1/2 weeks have passed since I sustained this ankle injury. I’m still on crutches. I’m still unable to bear my own weight. I find myself constantly fighting with the frustration that comes with being seriously limited in what I can and can not do. Fitness Friday: Road to Recovery Part 2

I have to admit that I really thought that by now I would be able to put weight on my ankle, but alas, that it is not the case. The good news is that I am making progress. This week, the swelling has really gone down as has the pain level. Those improvements have lead to more ankle and foot mobility which is wonderful. Rehab is painful, but progress is being made. Flexing exercises aren’t nearly as painful, and I can flex much further than last week. I have a little side to side movement which was non-existent last week.…
