(They do take breaks from the horses and play with other animals or occasionally American Girls, but lately, horses seem to be the animal of choice.) Before moving here, we were unexpectedly stationed in southern Virginia. This was not on the radar for us, but Munchkin and I very much enjoyed it. Daddy was deployed most of our time living there, so he didn’t really get to enjoy it as much. lol! Once he got back…

As she started developing these tools for her own family, Amy saw that other families and schools wanted the same types of tools, so she began to produce the materials for others. It was from this beginning that Creek Edge Press was born last spring. For our review, we received the Modern World Task Cards Set ($20 for set of task cards and teacher’s guide) which cover…

Worry about Nothing, Pray about Everything

Posted in Christian Life, Family, and Photography

We give our cares, concerns, worries to the Lord, and then, for some unknown reason, we try to take them back. Why, oh why, do we do this to ourselves? When I have that “uh-ha” moment and realize that I’m trying to carry the weight of the world on my shoulders, I tend to do the little palm smack on the forehead…
