You already know that we love going out and exploring nature. One of our newest stomping grounds for exploration will be Joshua Tree National Park. Joshua Tree National Park is known for it’s Joshua Trees which are part of the Agave family of plants. I know, big surprise, right? Embracing the Local Markets

It’s hard to believe that we’ve been here for almost 2 weeks now. I admit that I was feeling rather frustrated at the lack of organic produce available in the area until a kind Walmart employee pointed me in the direction of a local produce market. I headed over there on Thursday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. The place didn’t look like much from the outside, but the produce was beautiful. While many things were not certified organic, they were all raised in an organic/clean/pesticide-free manner. As I walked around looking at everything, I was treated to some delicious samples…
