We love that time of year where the strawberries are ready for picking. Yummy!! Since the critters around our house keep eating all of the strawberries that we planted this year, we headed over to the strawberry field.

Daddy does not enjoy picking berries, but he decided that he would join us anyway.
I like to quickly pick the berries as it can get rather warm out in the sun. I forgot to put on my new hat, so the sun was beating down on me.
Munchkin listened in to hear what others were saying about the different spots on the field. The field was filled with berries. Some areas had huge berries while others had medium to small berries. We were able to get a good mixture of the various sizes.
Munchkin enjoys picking berries. This year, she decided that she needed a good sun hat. She also thought it would work well once we move.
Most of the time, all we could see of our “little” Munchkin was her hat. She was quite serious about picking the berries. We were able to fill our buckets/baskets very quickly due to the abundance of berries available.
Picking strawberries sounds like so much fun, especially the eating side of things.
