We completed the human body lapbook by Hands of a Child today. Munchkin says that there is still a little more coloring to do, but she’ll finish it up later. **grin** This was a fun lapbook to work on.
We pulled the cover image from the web, and I put the verse on the bottom using a photo editing program. We are fearfully and wonderfully made…
We added a few books from activities that we found at Kids Health. (Note: Some families may find certain content on this site objectionable, so I encourage parents to check out the site first.)
The arm moves so you can see how the muscles work.
We tried to make it so the balloons could inflate (to show how the lungs work), but we had a few technical issues. It was fun prior to actually going into the lapbook.
We found a fun interactive game website for learning about the human body.
great learning going on 🙂

It looks fantastic! You did a great job! 🙂
Thanks for showing your lapbook! I’m new to lapbooking and can’t quite figure out how to do them without photos. 🙂

It’s beautiful! And it reflects a lot of learning. I’ve linked to you here on my Human Body Lapbook page.
Thanks for posting this. I was needing some ideas on tendons, ligaments, and cartilage and ran across your site. 🙂
How did you make the muscular arm?
I used tan cardstock to make it sturdy. For the joints, I used brads which allow it to move. The tendons/muscles are rubberbands attached to the brads.
Where did you get all of the separate pieces to make this lapbook? I am a teacher and would love to do this as a project. We just started studying body systems.
The lapbook is from Hands of a Child I also made booklets from activities from KidsHealth.org
Thank you so much!
Where did you get the cover page? I know it is from a book, but how did you get it? Thanks!
