Project 365 – #174
The crockpot is definitely my friend when I’m not feeling well. I can toss all of the ingredients into the pot and pretty much forget about it. Last night, I tossed in a pound of ground chicken, 2 cans of organic multi-color beans, 1 can of organic tomato sauce, 1/2 jar of roasted green chili sauce, 3 large organic tomatoes diced, and some seasonings. (Basically, I looked into the fridge and pantry to see what we had on hand and dumped it into the crockpot.)
It made a nice large batch of chicken chili which was eaten by the bowlful with chips and cheese last night and then made into taco salads today.
I’ll take a bowl!!!
Good grief that looks good at midnight on an empty stomach!! I really, really, really wish my family would eat something like that! They like plain food. I’m just stoping by to make sure I’m a follower. I am 🙂
