Bible Study/Devotions:

  • In the morning, I am reading the Daily Bread devotionals.
  • In the evening, I am working on a journal/prayer journal.
  • Munchkin will be continuing with her Keys for Kids devotions.
  • She is also doing her Frontline Club “workbook” for Wednesday night program.
  • We’ve just added morning devotions together before we start school.

Must Do List:

  • Laundry
  • Vacuum
  • Pick up medication

Train Them Up:

  • We are continuing to learn about how to make our home and food more healthy. We are learning about how God wants us to treat our bodies and the home/world that He has given us.
  • We have been given the awesome opportunity to be a Godly example to a neighbor. We will be praying that God uses us to achieve His purposes in her life. I am overwhelmed right now with this opportunity, so I will be spending lots of time in prayer myself as I seek the Lord’s leading.

Home Organization:

  • We’re continuing to try to find a place for everything in the house.
  • Our home organization is going to move outside shortly as we try to decide how to organize our edible garden/landscaping around the deck that we built this past summer.

Prayer Request:

  • Please continue to pray for Munchkin. She’s still having difficulty falling to sleep at night. (She’s been getting a second wind at 8:30 at night, and is wide awake.) A praise is that we have found a tea that is helping relax her. Now, we just need to work on her allowing herself to relax enough to fall asleep.
  • Prayer that Munchkin will feel better this week. Last week was a really rough week.
  • As always, continued prayers for D and the other troops & their families.

Plans for the Week:

  • St. Patrick’s Day fun
  • Frontline Club
  • Field Trip to the Organic Grocery store. We’ll be learning about organic farming as well as healthy eating.
  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Easter Sunday Cantata (our neighbor plans on joining us)

Just saying hi to all my fellow Monday Meanderers! I will be anxious to hear how things go with your neighbor. Have you ever heard of Nutra-Calm? I think Nature’s Sunshine makes it. It might help with the sleep issues. It’s a natural supplement we have used successfully for years.
    Have a wonderful week!
