Bible Study/Devotions: In the morning, I am reading the Daily Bread devotionals. In the evening, I am working on a journal/prayer journal. Munchkin will be continuing with her Keys for Kids devotions. She is also doing her Frontline Kids “workbook” for Wednesday night program.

Must Do List: Finish cleaning/preparing rooms for guests. Finish cleaning/organizing living room. Cleaning in Munchkin’s room. Send out packages.

Train Them Up: We are continuing to work on expanding Munchkin’s chore base. We are learning how to create a non-toxic environment in our home by learning how to stay away from toxic chemicals while cleaning. We are also learning more about healthy eating and organic products. Our bodies are a temple, so we must learn how to take care of them.

Home Organization: We’ll be working mainly on the study this week as we have company coming and they’ll be sleeping in that room. In addition, we’ll be working on Munchkin’s room, so she’ll be able to play up there with her cousins.

Prayer Request: Please continue to pray for Munchkin. She’s still having difficulty falling to sleep at night. As always, continued prayers for D and the other troops & their families.

Menu Planning:

  • Friday is once again pizza night now that we have yummy gluten free pizza.
  • Wednesday nights have become pasta night as it’s an easy dinner prior to going to Wednesday night church program.
  • Tacos
  • Cheesesteak
  • Chicken

Since we’re having company this week, we’ll also be eating out (by request).

I don’t know if it’s something you’d consider or not, but Calms Forte for Kids helps my daughter fall asleep on those nights she’s having trouble. And I use the adult version. It’s homeopathic, and I think of it kind of like chamomile tea in a pill.

I’ll be praying for your daughter. She’s so blessed to have such a loving family..keep up the great work being an awesome mama.

Question: Do you make your own gluten free pizza, or do you buy it somewhere?

I make my own pizza and I purchase pizza crusts by Kinnikinnick. I like to keep the already made crusts in the freezer for times that I don’t feel up to making the crusts from scratch as they take a while. 😉

Shannon, thanks for the suggestion. I’m not sure I’m comfortable using a sleep aid at this point, but thank you for the suggestion. I will look into it. 🙂
