Thankful Thursday

Posted in Family, and Thoughts

A child reminds us that playtime is an essential part of our daily routine. ~~ Author Unknown

I am daily reminded what a blessing my Munchkin is to me. The Lord has blessed me with just what I need during each phase of my life. For this, I am eternally grateful. As I have been under the weather this week, my dear child has helped me out by heating up heating pads for me and walking on my back. She’s given me lots of hugs and kisses and made me laugh. Laughter truly is the best medicine, isn’t it?

I was able to talk to my beloved on his birthday. I was surprised that he was able to call, so it was particularly nice to be able to wish him Happy Birthday by phone.

We safely made it home, and we’re slowly but surely getting back into our normal routine. We have realized what a haven our home is for us.

We were able to get all of the Christmas decorations down and put away. We were also able to get most of our Christmas goodies put away in their new homes.

I am very, very appreciative of all of the prayers that have been said on behalf of our family. They really do mean the world to us.

Thank you Lord for our bountiful blessings.
