Trip to Sea World Part 2

Posted in Family, Homeschooling, and Outdoor Adventures

I am so grateful for companies who offer special discounts for military members and their families.  We were able to go to Sea World San Diego for free.  Yes, we still had to pay $12 for parking, but that was our only cost.  We just had to show our military ids at the gate, and we received complimentary tickets for the day.

Heres to the Heroes

At the different shows, they had the military members stand up to be recognized and thanked for their service.  Since I’m proud of our men and women in uniform, I enjoy seeing all the service members being recognized for the sacrifices that they have made for their country.  Yes, it’s the job they chose to do, but it’s still nice to receive thanks.

The first show that we went to that day was for the dolphins.  Munchkin’s eyes lit up as the show began…

After this show, we quickly made our way over to the Shamu show – Believe.  Munchkin was really looking forward to this.  She sort of remembers going to Sea World Orlando when she was younger, but this time was a completely different experience with her.  Her excitement was contagious.

Don’t miss Part 1 of our Sea World visit.

This post is part of the Gratitude Challenge and  a Month of Thanksgiving.
