Great Software Tools Review

Posted in Reviews

Graphics ToolboxGraphics-Toolbox by Great Software Tools is a graphics software that was designed with the every day user in mind.  Once the user gets to know the program, the icons and user interface will, in theory, be easier for the end-user.  If you have used other graphics or photo editing software, you might find the interface to be a little confusing at first as the set-up is completely different.

Knowing that the user may have some difficulty at first learning the program, the people over at Graphics-Toolbox have put together several tutorials in addition to the manual.  The great thing about the tutorials is that you can pause and repeat information as you are working through the process of working on your project.

Unfortunately for me, I’m having some difficulty testing this program due to the fact that I have Windows 7.  Graphics-Toolbox is compatible with Microsoft® Windows® NT, 2000, XP or Vista 32-bit.  Note that it is NOT compatible with Vista 64-bit at this time.  It is not Windows 7 compatible.  I am trying to make it work by using compatibility mode, but I’m having some difficulty.

For this reason, this is not a thorough review of the product.  It has many great features including the ability to change colors in photos (such as make a pink shirt blue) or add and/or remove objects from photos.  You can create things for your blog (such as headers), create scrapbook pages, or even create fun worksheets/activities for school.  The possibilities are only limited by your time and imagination.

You can try Graphics-Toolbox for 30 days to see if it will work for you.  Make sure you check out all of the tutorials available to gain a full understanding of the program.  If you decide the program is right for you, you can purchase it for $149.

I received a copy of Graphics-Toolbox from Great Software Tools as a member of the TOS Crew for the purpose of this review.  No other compensation was received. All opinions are my own.
