Guys are Waffles, Girls are Spaghetti is a book geared towards teenagers.  It talks about the differences between the ways guys and girls think.  This book is filled with humor, and my husband and I shared quite a few laughs while I was reading it.  Some of my favorite quotes include:

• I have a “nothing” box, and you know what? I love it there. (talking about guys)
• We are equal even as we are different; advantaged in some ways, disadvantaged in others.
• But God is there before any other relationship… You are significant because God created you; find your significance in Him.

The book also includes a study guide at the end.  Guys are Waffles, Girls are Spaghetti includes a great deal of good information.  Many of the topics covered could help teenagers avoid some really bad situations.

All that being said, I personally do not feel this book should be given to teens to read on their own.  I also don’t feel that it should be used in a youth group setting without parental involvement/approval.  I believe that conversations about physical relationships and dating should take place between the parents and their teens.  This book could be a starting point for those conversations.
