I received a copy of this book from the publisher for review purposes. I remember hearing about Babycakes bakery for the first time on Cupcake Wars. I was impressed that they were doing gluten free, vegan cupcakes that tasted good. While I’m not vegan, I appreciated the difficultly that came not only with baking gluten free but also vegan. So this week is sort of week 7 of my 21 Day Fix program. I say sort due to taking some time off due to activities and illness. With having time off, I felt like I was starting over again – almost. Spicy Crockpot Chicken Soup

D has been on a soft foods diet for nearly a week now, so I’ve needed to come up with meals that don’t heat up the house and work for his restricted diet. I made a less spicy version of this soup for my mother-in-law and father-in-law when they were visiting by not including the cayenne pepper and reducing the amount of fresh ground pepper. It’s pretty easy to adjust to your family’s taste preference by adding or subtracting ingredients. If you want a more spicy version, just toss in some of your favorite spicy peppers. I like to eat…
