It’s almost time for Shark Week 2014 to begin, so I decided to make up some themed notebooking pages to record some of the information learned as well as dig a little deeper into the various sharks that we find in our oceans. This 32-page set features pages covering:
- Book Logs for Shark Studies
- Shark Safety
- Relatives of the Shark
- Where do Sharks Live?
- Shark Diet
- Shark Senses
- Shark Teeth
- Shark Babies
- Shark Facts
- Shark Tales
- Shark Acrostic
- Ocean Acrostic
- Shark Anatomy
- What is a Shark?
- Shark Files
- Vocabulary
- Notes
Some of the online resources that we’ve used in the past to enhance our shark learning experience include LearningPage.com, EnchantedLearning.com, Discovery Channel Shark Week, and The Shark Research Institute. The Shark Institute has solid educational content as well as worksheets (with answer keys) and games. It’s important to note that all of the resources are presented from an evolution point-of-view.
Here are a few of the books that we have used over the years (Amazon affiliate link when you click on images):
The Shark notebooking pages are now part of the Marine Corps Nomads Homeschool Resource Library. They’re still free, but they’re now hosted right here. All of the free homeschool resources are available in one easy-access location. You can sign up for free access to the resource library below.
If you have friends or family who are interested in these free resources, please have them sign up as well. Thanks for your support!
