With a new prescription in hand, we headed to find new frames for Munchkin. Little did we know that it was going to be a long, drawn-out process. She did not want little glasses which is what the vast majority of the frames were in the store, and I didn’t want to pay a crazy amount for the frames.
This combination lead to a crazy search for frames that would work for her.
Finally, we stumbled across some clearance prescription sunglasses frames that she really liked. A few days later, she was sporting her new glasses.
The transition from her old prescription to her new was not easy, but now that her eyes have adjusted, she’s quite happy with her new glasses.
She is now back to wearing her glasses full time, so it was really important to me that her glasses were comfortable and worked for her. I was thankful that we were able to find glasses that she liked and that were comfortable without breaking the bank. I think these glasses fit her quirky style. 🙂
