After nearly a month and a half of internet only on my phone unless we hit the library, I finally have high speed internet again. It’s something that I took for granted, so it was a wake-up call not to have even dial-up available. What it did allow was lots of great time to be spent with Munchkin (and D when he was around). Our time at the cabin, while not always relaxing, was refreshing.
We are now getting settled into our new place in CA. Yes, we still have the cabin and will continue to work on it as time allows, but it’s not our full-time home, yet. I’ll write more about the move a bit later as it’s been quite the adventure thus far. I’m praying that things settle down soon, and that we can find our new routine. For now, we’ll just take things one day at a time.
D is starting to get plugged in at his new duty station. He’s still not exactly sure what he’ll be doing there which makes things – interesting. 😉
I have lots of things that I need to write updates about, but that will need to wait for another time as the boxes are calling me. Thanks for sticking with me during this move and my hit or miss blogging during that time. I have a great giveaway that I will be posting soon that you won’t want to miss. 🙂
