Kyle Sherman is a singer-songwriter based in Fort Worth, Tx where he lives with his wife and kids. Kyle’s decade-long path of leading worship started at his local church as a teenager, progressed to Dallas Baptist University, and continued as a full-time role as worship leader at Lifechurch.TV’s Fort Worth campus where for over three years he was under the leadership of renowned pastor/author Craig Groeschel. Kyle’s journey to becoming the flagship artist to a brand new label – RayLynn Records – was not on his time, but on the Lord’s.
About the Album:
“It’s crazy how God works,” Kyle says. “Five years ago, I pushed pretty hard to do my own thing as a singer-songwriter, but every well I approached dried up. It clearly wasn’t the right time.” It was at this point that Kyle took the worship leader role at Lifechurch.TV’s Fort Worth campus. Little did he know that this would bring into his life the very people who the Lord would use to bring his dream to life. 3 years later Kyle found himself back in Nashville, pouring his heart into a microphone at Sony studio with veteran producer and country singer-songwriter Mark Collie making his first album. Those sessions resulted in this album, Hear Me, which Kyle calls an eclectic and authentic mix of rootsy, southern soul.
