New Year, New Me: Reflections

2011 was a difficult year for our family between D’s two back surgeries, the loss of family members and pets, and a few more things thrown in for good measure, but it was also a time of family bonding. We found ourselves growing together, learning together. We were given the special opportunity to spend some good quality time together. Granted, for a good chunk of that time, D was in pain, but it was still a good time of bonding for all of us. R.E.A.L. Homeschool Spanish

R.E.A.L. Homeschool Spanish is a Spanish curriculum that is designed with homeschoolers in mind. It is not a Spanish curriculum that has been reworked for homeschoolers. Because of this unique approach, I found it extremely easy to implement this program into our homeschooling schedule without a great deal a preparation. I haven’t been blogging much these days because D has been home from work, and we’re going through lots of adjustments here on the homefront. As you recall, we adopted Wiley from the humane society the weekend before Christmas. He’s been integrating into our family. As with any changes, there have been ups and downs, but he is definitely 100% a member of the family. He’s still learning to be comfortable with D in all areas of the house.
