I’m not going to smile…

Posted in Family, and Photography

Project 365 – #182 Today, while Munchkin and I were waiting for D to finish talking to someone, I asked Munchkin if I could take a few pictures of her next to this beautiful flower bush.  She agreed and was grinning away until I started taking pictures.  Then, she decided that she was not going to smile.  Nope, it wasn’t going to happen – that is, until I stopped taking pictures. lol! By the way, this picture was taken in a parking lot.  We loved the bush, so we thought it would be fun to take some pictures around it. …

Learning My Camera

Project 365 – #181 Munchkin and I are slowly working our way through our Mommytography class assignments.  One of the things that is required is to read the manual for our camera.  Yep, I know that’s a novel idea, but it’s something that we don’t always do.  We look up things as needed here and there, but we don’t really learn about all of the features on our camera.  So, we’re reading, learning, and practicing.

Wood Spools

Posted in Family, and Photography

Project 365 – #178 I inherited my mother’s sewing table and machine.  Her table was filled with all of her sewing supplies.  Munchkin and I like to see what treasures we can find in the drawers and the sewing bench.  I love finding things like these older wooden spools of thread.  They are so pretty compared to the plastic ones that you can buy at the stores these days.
