Breast cancer awareness is near and dear to my heart as my mother-in-law is a breast cancer survivor.  Cancer is a horrible disease which touches way too many lives.  I’m sure there are very few individuals who have not been touched in some way by cancer.  When I was asked if I’d like to help spread the word about the 2011 Pink Together campaign, I said yes.  Having lost my mother to ovarian cancer, I know the importance of spreading the word about regular check-ups as well as helping raise funds for cancer research.  Fighting cancer is not something you…

I am not a true scrapbooker. Caterpillar’s Math House Games is a set of large, durable activity cards on an o-ring for easy of use.  The card set features 20 steps to help kids learn math in a fun, hands-on way.  While these cards are labeled as math games, they are actually math activities.  There are 2 activities for each step of the program.  The steps are broken down into 3 different stages which get progressively more difficult.  It’s an immersion program, so kids learn by physically doing the math concepts being presented.
