Review: The Alarmists

Posted in Reviews

The AlarmistsSociologist Brent Michaels finds patterns in what appears to be the chaos of human interaction.  When he receives a call from the Pentagon to work on a special case, he’s intrigued.  Little does he know that his decision to accept the case will lead to danger and active field work.  Will he make the connection in time or will the world come to an end?

The Alarmists is an excellent suspense novel.  The conspiracy theory within the book definitely makes you see the events taking place in the world in a different light.  The book had elements of a good Indiana Jones story.  Brent Michaels is a college professor who has gone to do some exciting field work.  He uncovers many mysteries while trying to put all of the pieces together.  Unlike Dr. Jones, Michaels learns that science and faith are not mutually exclusive.  Some of his new colleagues show Michaels that he can have a strong faith while investigating the scientific realm.
