Project 365 – #099 On Friday, we were blessed with the sweet sound of raindrops on our windows.  Munchkin put on her coat and rain boots and headed outside to play. The rain cooled down the temps and cleared the air.  I so enjoy the lovely smell of spring rain.

Project 365 – #097 Hope is the thing with feathers That perches in the soul, And sings the tune without the words, and never stops at all. ~ Emily Dickenson ~ Yesterday, Munchkin and I were looking around at all of the blooming flowers in our yard and in the yards around our neighborhood.  The bees were drawn to the sweet fragrance of the blossoming bushes.  Hummingbirds flitted this way and that from one bush to the next.  Pausing only briefly – just long enough for me to capture a brief glimpse of this tiny, amazing creature.

Project 365 – #095 One of the things that I quickly learned as a new homeschooler is that I can’t do it all. Seriously!  When we are living in a house pretty much 24/7, our home is not going to be as perfect as someone who works and has kiddos in school.  It’s just how it is.  We have craft projects and science projects around the house.  School books and supplies rarely seem to completely find their way back to the official school room because we have a habit of schooling all over the house.  That is our life, our…
