We’ve been enjoying a new to us seasoning called Bagel Spice. It comes in 3 delicious varieties: original, sea salt flakes, and zesty jalapeno. If you’ve ever had an everything bagel, then you have some idea of what is in these savory seasoning blends. The Bagel Spice seasoning blends are kosher and free of msg and preservatives.
I admit that everything bagels are one of my favorite bagels – well, they were prior to going gluten free. I’m still in search of the “perfect” gluten free everything bagel. When I heard about this seasoning, I was instantly intrigued and knew that I wanted to try it. It quickly became my go-to seasoning. I used it for everything from eggs to chicken salad to dips to spreads to chicken to breads/toast. I took it with me when we went camping as it was a great, easy way to add lots of flavor to a variety of dishes.
Garlic toast is taken to a whole new level when you sprinkle on some bagel spice. Add a little zesty jalapeno bagel spice to some sour cream for a tasty dip to go with quasadillas. The possibilities are truly endless. Yum!
